Onion was founded in Denmark in 1998 and is one of the most innovative yarn manufacturers on the market today. The Onion yarns were developed together with a wool mill in Italy and contain only natural fibers, some of which are more unusual, such as hemp or nettle.

Over the years Onion has also developed into a project studio and currently offers, in addition to the yarns, its own sewing patterns and sewing instructions for the dresses in the Scandinavian style.
